Shalmali Kholgade is musician Atif Afzal's lucky mascot

Mumbai, Jan 26 (IBNS): Shalmali Kholgade has established herself as one of the most promising young playback singers in Bollywood.

Having belted out several hits like Pareshaan, Daaru Desi and Lat Lag Gayee, she's ready with her latest song 'Aala Aala Re Baji' for the upcoming Marathi movie Baji with Atif Afzal.

As they say, three's a charm, the duo will be seen collaborating for a third time. She is like a lucky mascot for music director Atif Afzal. Whenever she sings for him, the song become an instant hit.

They first worked together for Marathi movie Pune 52, where she recorded Jag Saare Badle and later on went on to record another song Kap Kap Kap czech song into Hindi, for a psychological thriller Prague. 

In the last few years, many movies had Shalmali's tracks. Most of her songs are chart toppers and is on every music director`s wanted list.

Also 'Monsoon Shootout' would be one of Atif Afzal's next releases which stars Nawazzudin Siddique Produced by Anurag Kashyup
