SRK is back! Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ release date revealed with roaring teaser

| @indiablooms | Jan 24, 2026, at 07:07 pm

Shah Rukh Khan fans have a date to mark on their calendars—December 26, 2026. The makers of the superstar’s much-anticipated film King announced on Saturday that the movie will hit theatres on that day.

The announcement was made through a teaser video unveiled on social media. Sharing the teaser, Khan confirmed the release date, writing: “#KING is ready to roar on 24.12.2026 in cinemas.”

In the teaser, the actor is also heard delivering a powerful punch dialogue: “Darr nahi, deshshat hoon” (I am not fear, I am terror).

King marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after a long gap. Last year, director Siddharth Anand had unveiled the film’s title through a special reveal video.

The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
