| @indiablooms | Aug 18, 2018, at 07:54 pm

Kolkata, Aug 18 (IBNS) SVF, filmmaker Srijit Mukherji and actor Prosenjit Chatterjee will be coming back together for their upcoming venture on the curious case of Gumnami Baba, a man many assumed to be the legendary freedom fighter, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

The trio are delighted to announce their new project on this day as, in 1945, exactly 74 years ago Netaji had boarded the flight in Taiwan before mysteriously disappearing forever.

Excited about this announcement, Shrikant Mohta, Director & Co-founder of SVF goes on to say: “The combination of SVF, Srijit Mukherji and Prosenjit Chatterjee have always churned out blockbusters. We are optimistic that this film will also garner positive critical and audience response.”

Written and directed by Srijit Mukherji, the untitled film will have Prosenjit Chatterjee playing the titular role.

The film is scheduled to release in 2019.
