'Taali' teaser: Sneak-peek into Sushmita Sen's onscreen journey as transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant

Mumbai/IBNS: The makers on Saturday unveiled the teaser of upcoming web series 'Taali', which features actress Sushmita Sen as transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant.

The teaser reflects Sushmita as Sreegauri Sawant fighting for the rights of third gender.

The teaser unveiled gives a sneak peek of the courageous quest of struggles, resilience and triumph.

Speaking about playing Sawant, Sushmita told media earlier, "I have tried to portray the life of Gauri Sawant ji with honesty which I hope gets reflected because more than a performance, it is my tribute to the entire community."

Created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar, the series is directed by National award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, written by Kshitij Patwardhan and produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Kartk D Nishandar (GSEAMS Production) and Afeefa Nadiadwala.

The series will premiere on JioCinema on August 15.
