Tanuja rocks in monokini at Tanishaa Mukerji's birthday bash

Mumbai/IBNS: Veteran actress Tanuja caught all the limelight at her daughter Tanishaa Mukerji's birthday celebration by sporting a monokini beside a pool.

Tanishaa shared a few pictures from her birthday bash on Instagram recently.

In one of the pictures, Tanuja, 76, was seen posing in a blue monokini along with several young women including Tanishaa.

Standing beside her mother, Tanishaa too scorched the frame by wearing a sky blue bikini.

She captioned the pictures saying, "What a fun fun beginning to my birthday! Thank u @utropicanaresort_ for taking such good care of us !"

Tanuja, who started her film career with actress sister Nutan in 1950 film Hamari Beti, is also the mother of Bollywood superstar Kajol.

Not just in Bollywood, Tanuja was a prominent actress in Bengali films during mid-1960s.

She took part in a number of Bengali films starring opposite acting legends Uttar Kumar and Soumitra Chatterjee.

Some of the Bengali films which had won the hearts of cine-lovers were Deya Neya, Anthony-Firingee, Teen Bhuvaner Parey, Prothom Kadam Phool.
