The Nun makes strong opening at Indian BO

Los Angeles, Sept 8 (IBNS): Horror movie The Nun earned Rs. 8 crores in the Indian Bos Office on Friday.

The movie released on Friday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#TheNun achieves the best opening day numbers among #Conjuring movies in India... Takes an ELECTRIFYING START... Eclipses *all* releases - new as well as holdover titles... Fri ₹ 8 cr Nett BOC [1603 screens]. India biz. All versions."

The Nun is a 2018 American gothic supernatural horror film directed by Corin Hardy and written by Gary Dauberman, from a story by Dauberman and James Wan.

It is a spin-off of 2016's The Conjuring 2 and the fifth installment in The Conjuring Universe.

The film stars Demián Bichir, Taissa Farmiga and Jonas Bloquet.
