Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali actors Tnusree Chakraborty and Ishan Mazumder will be starring opposite each other in a complete romantic film Chirosakha Hey, which is directed by Argha Deep Chatterjee.

In the film, both Ishan and Tnusree play the characters with tragic past but their lives get intertwined in the hills in a build up for their love story.

The trailer gives a glimpse of Ishaan (played by Ishan Mazumder) belonging to a traditional Bengali family. The protagonist, who had lost his father as a child, moves to North Bengal from Kolkata.

Speaking of his character, Ishan says, "My character is an artist, a bohemian, who plays songs in the hills. He is also a painter and a photographer. His aimless life changes after he falls in love."

Tnusree plays the role of Tilottoma, a widow, who is unable to grapple with the death of her husband. When she loses all hope in life, Tilottoma meets Ishaan.

"I felt this story was unique which pushed me to do this film. I have been planning to work with Argha Deep for a long time but somehow it was not happening. Finally Chirosakha Hey happened," Tnusree said.

Director Chatterjee had written this story during the anti-Covid-19 lockdown which had forced people to stay away from their loved ones.

"The film speaks of eternal relationships. A momentary separation during lockdown prompted me to write about a love story," Chatterjee said.

Chirosakha Hey is slated for Mar 10 release.
