Trailer of Alia Bhatt starrer 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' to release on Feb 4

Mumbai/IBNS: Eminent film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming Hindi project 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', a story on a brothel owner, will get its trailer released on Feb 4.

Leading Hindi film actress Alia Bhatt, who plays the brothel owner, shared a post on Instagram saying, "Aa Rahi Hai Gangu... Trailer out on 4th February... #GangubaiKathiawadi in cinemas on 25th February, 2022."

The movie is based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai' about Gangubai Kathiawadi, a brothel owner and matriarch.

The film marks the first collaboration between the ace director and Bhatt.

It is produced by Bhansali and Jayantilal Gada under their respective banners Bhansali Productions and Pen India Limited.

'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is slated for Feb 25 release.
