TV actor Sidharth Shukla dies of massive heart attack

Mumbai/IBNS: In shocking news, television actor Sidharth Shukla died of a massive heart attack Thursday.

He was 40.

Shukla was admitted to Cooper Hospital where he was undergoing treatment.

The actor, who was a model in the early part of his career, acted in daily soaps like Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak.

He had earned fame for his participation in reality TV series Bigg Boss.

Shukla had also acted in films. He starred alongside Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan in the 2014 film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

Reactions

Mourning his demise, actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, "Shocked beyond words!! Gone toooooo soon…. Condolences to his family, loved ones. - He was loved by millions. #SiddharthShukla you will be missed - rest in peace brother. Om Shanti."

Actress Richa Chadha tweeted, "Shocking. 40!!! Unbelievable. Condolences to the family."

Actor Ali Fazal tweeted, "Shocked to hear this news. This is too soon. Siddharth, may you rest in peace saathi. My prayers and condolences to the family in this tough time."
