Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham Singh to release in Oct 2020

Mumbai, Jun 17 (IBNS): Actor Vicky Kaushal starrer Hindi film Sardar Udham Singh will hit the big screens on Oct 2, 2020.

The film will be directed by Shoojit Sircar and has been written by Ritesh Shah and Shubendu Bhattacharya. It will be produced by  Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.

Set in the independence era, the film is a story of freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh.

Kaushal will play the role of Singh.

Singh, who was a Punjabi revolutionary, belonged to the Ghadar Party, which is best known for assassinating former Punjab Lieutenant Governor Michael O'Dwyer.

Kaushal, who began his Bollywood career in 2012, earned appreciation for his acting in films like Masaan, Raazi, Sanju, Manmarziyaan, Uri.
