22nd Asian Athletics Championship: Sudarsan Pattnaik to create sand art

Bhubaneswar, June 28 (IBNS): Internationally-famed artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Wednesday said he will be creating sand art during the 22nd Asian Athletics Championship here.

Bhubaneswar will host the event next month.

"On the opening ceremony of #AAC2017 I will create a SandArt at Kalinga Stadium, @Bhubaneswar2017 to welcome the players of 45 countries," he tweeted.

The artist has won several awards for his creations over the years.

Athletes and delegates from 45 countries are scheduled to participate in the event next month.
