Afghanistan: Cricketer Shapoor Zadran escapes attack in Kabul

Kabul. Jan 8 (IBNS): Afghani cricketer Shapoor Zadran escaped an attack unhurt following open-fire at his vehicle by unknown assailants, local Khaama Press reported.

The incident took place on Saturday night in the province's Bagrami district.

Zadran, a fast bowler and a senior member in the Afghanistan national side, has been attacked earlier too.

No group has claimed responsibility for carrying out the attack so far.
