Anoop & Shambu clinch top place in Shree Cement Weekly Pairs Bridge Meet

Kolkata/IBNS: Anoop Dhawan & Shambu Nath Ghosh bagged the top place while Hema Deora & Gopinath Manna took the second spot in the ninth round of the second edition in Shree Cement Weekly Pairs Bridge Championship held online Wednesday night.

They were followed by Debabrata Deb & Asoke Dey who settled for the 3rd position.

Partha Pratim Pal & Sourav Mukherjee, who stood second in the earlier round, remained contended this time with fourth place and Basudeb Bhattacharya & Sukanya Das finished fifth.

Following are the positions of top five finishers of the day

1. Anoop Dhawan & Shambu Nath Ghosh
2. Hema Deora & Gopinath Manna
3. Debabrata Deb  &  Asoke Dey
4. Partha Pratim Pal & Sourav Mukherjee
5.Basudeb Bhattacharya & Sukanta Das
