Asian Games: Pranab congratulates medal winners

New Delhi, Sept 25 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday congratulated Indian athletes for winning medals in the ongoing Asian Games in Incheon.

"The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated Shri Dushyant Singh for winning Bronze Medal in the Lightweight Men’s Single Sculls Final A; Shri Narender Grewal for winning Bronze Medal in the Men’s Sanda 60 kg category in Wushu and Ms. Yumnam Sanathoi Devi for winning Bronze Medal in the Women’s Sanda 52 kg category in Wushu at the Asian Games – 2014 at Incheon," read a statement issued by the President's Secretariat.

In individual messages, the President said, “Your achievement is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication. You have made all Indians proud and proved that hard work always bring laurels."

"My best wishes are also with you for more success in the future," he said.
