Atletico de Kolkata signs Sameehg Doutie from South Africa

Kolkata, June 26 (IBNS): The champions of inaugural edition of Indian Super League, Atletico de Kolkata announced on Friday that the team has signed right wing midfielder and Bidvest Wits FC player Sameehg Doutie from South Africa. Doutie is a former SuperSport United and Ajax Cape Town winger who spent the past season on loan at Bidvest Wits will now strengthen the Atlético de Kolkata line up for the second edition of the Indian Super League.

Atlético de Kolkata has now announced the signing of four foreign players and has retained three foreign players from the previous edition in their lineup for the 2015 season.

“Sameehg has played for the South African under-23 and under-20 national teams and has significant experience playing for ace South African clubs. This is an enormous opportunity for him and playing for Atlético de Kolkata will be the right platform to showcase his talent to the world and the football aficionados of Kolkata,”Antonio Lopez Habas, Head Coach, Atlético de Kolkata
