Aus Open: Petra Kvitova crashes out

Melbourne, Jan 24 (IBNS): Spectators received another shock on Saturday as Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova crashed out of the Australian Open after losing her women's singles event match against Madison Keys here.

The American Tennis player defeated her experienced Czech opponent  6-4 7-5.

After registering an easy victory in the first round, the 19-year-old American fought hard to emerge victorious in the second and clinched the match to move to the fourth round.

She will face Madison Brengle of the USA in the next round.
