Australian Open: Maria Sharapova starts campaign with a dominant show against Dart
Melbourne, Jan 14 (IBNS): Russian Tennis icon Maria Sharapova dominated the proceedings in the Australian Open where she defeated Harriet Dart in the first round of the tournament here on Monday.
Maria completedly thrashed her opponent 6-0.6-0.
The Russian looked dominant against the 131-ranked Dart and finished the match in little more than an hour.
A ruthless session of power-hitting made the clash interesting to watch.
