Australian Open: Sania Mirza wins both outings

Melbourne, Jan 23 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza and her doubles partner Martina Hingis moved to the third round of the Australian Open women's doubles event by beating Ukrainian sisters Lyudmyla and Nadiia Kichenok here on Saturday.

The Indo-Swiss pair defeated their opponents  6-2, 6-3 .

The match lasted for an hour and three minutes.

Pairing up with her mixed doubles Croatian partner Ivan Dodig, Sania defeated local pair of Ajla Tomljanovic and Nick Kyrgios 7-5, 6-1 in 59 minutes to reach the second round of the Grand Slam.

"Double duty today.. Happy to come through both.. Never easy to play friends @Ajlatom and @NickKyrgios still love you both ," Sania tweeted.
