Balraj Panwar keeps medal hopes alive, finishes second in repechage round of men's singles sculls quarterfinals

Indian rower and medal hope Balraj Panwar qualified directly to the quarterfinals of the men’s single sculls event on Sunday.

He finished in the second spot of the second repechage by clocking 07:12.41.

By timing 7:10.00s, the numero uno position was reached by  Monaco’s Quentin Antognelli.

The Indian will now compete in the quarter-finals round on Tuesday.
