Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan banned for 6 months

Dhaka, July 7 (IBNS): In a major step taken by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), country's all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been banned from playing all forms of cricket for six months.

In order to prevent the cricketer from playing in any international league, the board has also decided not to  issue him any no-objection certificate (NOC) for 18 months.

The steps were taken against the all-rounder for breaching rules.

"He has a severe attitude problem, "  BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon  told media on Monday.

He warned of banning Hasan forever if he 'showed attitude' again.

On Sunday, Hasan returned to Bangladesh from London after the BCB directed him to do so.

Without taking NOC from the  board, Hasan, who had earlier captained the national side, was on his way to Barbados to join the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
