BCCI appoints Sanjay Bangar as Assistant Batting Coach for West Indies tour

Mumbai, June 25 (IBNS): The BCCI on Saturday appointed former Indian all-rounder Sanjay Bangar as the Assistant Batting Coach of the Indian side for the upcoming West Indies tour.

Abhay Sharma has been named the Assistant Fielding Coach.


"In consultation with Mr. Anil Kumble, Head Coach, Indian Cricket Team, the BCCI has appointed the following assistant coaches for the ​India ​tour of West Indies 2016​," read a BCCI statement.

Former Indian skipper Anil Kumble was recently appointed as the coach of India team.
