BCCI congratulates India Women Team for winning the T20I series against SL

Mumbai, Feb 26 (IBNS): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday congratulated the members of the India Women Cricket Team for winning the three-match Twenty20 International series against Sri Lanka 3-0.
BCCI President, Shashank Manohar said: “The Women’s team has done consistently well, in recent times with T20I series win against Australia in Australia and now against Sri Lanka at home."
 
"I would like to congratulate captain Mithali Raj for the consistent show by her team and I hope that the Indian Women’s team would continue to build the momentum for the ICC World T20 2016,” said he.
 
BCCI Hony. Secretary Anurag Thakur said: “I want to congratulate our team on their resounding victory in the T20Is against Sri Lanka. This is a result of their dedicated effort, which has translated into a series of successful performances. I wish that the consistency displayed, would come in good stead ahead of their preparations for the ICC World T20 2016 in India.”
