BCCI increases daily allowance of women, U-19 teams

Mumbai, Aug 22 (IBNS): The Working Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) met today at the Hotel ITC Maurya, Delhi.


The BCCI said the daily allowance for the India Under-19 boys team and senior India women team was increased and fixed at par with the senior India men team.

"All of them will get 125 USD per day on international tours and equivalent of 100 USD in the home series," the BCCI said in a statement.

"The proposed expenditure for the ground preparation, ground equipment, indoor academy for Meghalaya and Nagaland were approved," it said.

The domestic tournament schedule was approved and will be announced shortly.

The Secretary of the BCCI, Ajay Shirke briefed the members on his meeting with the Justice Lodha Committee and also informed the house that BCCI has filed review petition in the Supreme Court.
