Borussia Dortmund signs French youngster Dan-Axel Zagadou

Dortmund, June 5 (IBNS): German football side Borussia Dortmund on Monday confirmed it has signed French youngster Dan-Axel Zagadou.

The club said it has signed the player from Ligue 1 outfit Paris St. Germain ahead of the coming season.

"Dan-Axel Zagadou will be a full member of our professional squad from July. We have conducted this transfer with the future in mind, are fully convinced of the player's abilities and look forward to helping him to take the next steps of his footballing development as a BVB first-team player," Borussia Dortmund's Sporting Director Michael Zorc was quoted as saying by the club website.

Zagadou has signed a five-year contract unti June 30, 2022.

The club tweeted: "Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of highly-rated French prospect Dan-Axel Zagadou (18) from Paris St. Germain.#welcometodortmund."
