Melbourne, Jan 29 (IBNS): Australian spinner Brad Hogg is likely to play for IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the upcoming edition of the cash-rich cricket tournament this year.

Hogg was quoted as saying by the Herald Sun: "I was talking to Trevor Bayliss at the Kolkata Knight Riders."

"They’re looking to get me over there. It looks like I’m going to the IPL as well. Hopefully I get another season or two in the Big Bash here with the Perth Scorchers," he said.

KKR had won the IPL title last season.
