Brisbane International: Andy Murray defeated in second round

Brisbane, Jan 2 (IBNS): UK Tennis star Andy Murray was defeated in the second round of the Brisbane International by Russia's Daniil Medvedev.

The Russian defeated Murray by 7-5 6-2.

The defeat ended Murray’s 10-match unbeaten streak in Brisbane.

The Russian now booked a quarter-final showdown with Canadian fifth seed Milos Raonic.
