Can this West Indies team qualify for Ranji Trophy quarter-finals: Harbhajan Singh questions

Mumbai, Oct 5 (IBNS): Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh on Friday criticized the West Indies team, which is currently playing Test series in India, and asked whether it can even qualify in Ranji quarter-finals in the plate division of the tournament.

"With all due respect to West Indies Cricket but I have a question for u all...will this west Indies team qualify for Ranji quarters from the plate group? Elite se to nahin hoga #INDvsWI," Singh tweeted.

Singh said the team cannot qualify to the quarter-finals of the tournament in the elite league.

Ranji Trophy plate division is the second tier of the tournament.

Riding on Virat Kohli (139), P Shaw (134) and Ravindra Jadeja (100*) Rishabh Pant (92), India declared at the score of 649 for the loss of nine wickets in their first innings.

West Indies were struggling at 63 runs for the loss of five wickets till the last report came in.
