CEAT signs endorsement deal with Harmanpreet Kaur

New Delhi, jan 22 (IBNS): CEAT Ltd. on Monday announced its association with one of most prolific all-rounders in women’s cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur, for a period of 2 years.

The bat endorsement deal will make Harmanpreet a valuable addition to team CEAT which already has the likes of Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane & Ishan Kishan on board.

With this deal, the talented run machine will become the first women cricketer to be associated with CEAT and will now be seen playing with a bat prominently displaying CEAT insignia in all formats of the game.

In 2017, a year which is considered to be a breakthrough year in women’s cricket, Harmanpreet Kaur has been consistent with the bat and ball in the Indian colors raising her profile in world cricket. Harmanpreet was also conferred by the Arjuna Award for Cricket for her blistering performances throughout her career.

Currently one of the stars of the Indian women’s cricket, Harmanpreet has been a consistent performer across multiple formats of the game. In 2017, World Cup semi-final against Australia, Harmanpreet scored a career-best 171 which is the highest individual score in an Indian in world cup history. Harmanpreet is the first Indian cricketer to be signed by an overseas franchise in a T20 tournament having donned colours for Sydney Thunders in the 2016-17 Women’s Big Bash League.
