Chowbaga High School emerge winner at Kolkata School Football League

Kolkata, Aug 10 (IBNS): After spanning over a period of two weeks, Sunfeast Kolkata School Football League concluded its second season on Saturday with Chowbaga High School emerging the winner at the Grand Finale.

The league, which commenced on July 23, was held in NKDA Football Stadium where budding footballers battled it out for the top spot.

On Saturday at the Grand Finale, Chowbaga High School bagged the trophy with four goals and beat La Martiniere for Boys Kolkata.

Sajal Bag of  Chowbaga High School was adjudged the Man of the Match.

The Golden Ball (Man of the Tournament) went to Rahul Murmu of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur.

Bappa Sardar of Chowbaga High School was the winner of Golden Boot (Highest Scorer).

Sports Connect, a sports management Company, felicitated football veteran Mohan Singh and Ashoke Chatterjee.

Subrata Dutta, IFA President, also announced that the winner of Sunfeast KSFL 2019 will be felicitated on IFA Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony.
