New Delhi/IBNS: Decorated wrestler Sushil Kumar, who is facing murder charge and is in jail, watched the wrestling bout of Ravi Kumar Dahiya at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

The Indian grappler settled for a silver at the ongoing Olympics as he lost the final of 57 kg freestyle wrestling after a keen contest against world champion Zaur Uguev of Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) 4 -7 Thursday.

An emotional Sushil Kumar was reportedly 'disappointed' after he lost, said media reports.

A special TV was set up for Kumar at Tihar Jail to let him watch Dahiya's final match.

Ravi Dahiya, 23, used to train at Chhatrasal Stadium, the legendary training ground for Olympians like Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt.

Earlier, wrestler Sushil Kumar also bagged a silver in the London Olympics during 2012.

India first won a bronze medal in wrestling in 1952.

After a long gap, Sushil Kumar brought home a bronze from the 2008 Beijing Olympics and scored a silver at the London games.

Yogeshwar Dutt won a bronze at the London Games.
