Fernando Torres gets war welcome in Tokyo

Tokyo, July 15 (IBNS):  Former Spanish international football star Fernando Torres has signed with Japanese club Sagan Tosu football club.

He will soon be seen playing in the  J1 league for the club.

Torres said he was feeling grateful for the warm welcome he received after reaching Tokyo.

" Grateful to everyone for the warm welcome I’ve had at Tokyo, in my presentation as Sagan Tosu player / Agradecido a todos por el gran recibimiento q he tenido en Tokio en mi Presentación como jugador del Sagan Tosu #SaganTosu #サガン鳥栖," the footballer tweeted.

Torres was part of the Chelsea's Champions League-winning team in 2012.
