Birmingham/IBNS: English skipper Ben Stokes won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in the fifth Test match here Friday.

Jasprit Bumrah is set to lead India in the fifth Test against England in Edgbaston, in what will be the first time he will lead the national side in any format as skipper Rohit Sharma is down with Covid-19.

Bumrah is also set to make history as the first pacer to captain India in Tests since the legendary Kapil Dev in 1987.

The four Indian bowlers in the match are Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Shami.
