Gautam Gambhir comes out to help slain J&K police's daughter

New Delhi, Sept 5 (IBNS): Cricketer Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday came forward to help daughter of slain Jammu and Kashmir Police officer Abdul Rashid.

Gambhir said he will help  educate "for lifetime" daughter of late cop Abdul Rashid.

Promising to help Zohra, Gambhir tweeted: "Zohra,plz don't let those tears fall as i doubt even Mother Earth can take d weight of ur pain. Salutes to ur martyred dad ASI,Abdul Rashid."

In another tweet, the cricketer said: "Zohra,I can't put u 2 sleep wid a lullaby but I'll help u 2 wake up 2 live ur dreams. Will support ur education 4 lifetime #daughterofIndia."

The cop was killed by terrorists in Anantnag town of Jammu and Kashmir on Aug 28, reports said.
