Harbhajan Singh included in Indian squad for remaining series against India

Mumbai, Oct 11 (IBNS) Senior Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has been included in the Indian squad after R Ashwin was injured during the first ODI match against South Africa.

"R. Ashwin sustained a left side strain injury during the first Paytm One day International against South Africa at Green Park, Kanpur on 11th October 2015," the BCCI said in a statement.

"After making a detailed assessment of the injury, the BCCI medical team will confirm the time frame required for Ashwin to fully recovery from the injury," it said.

"Harbhajan Singh has been included in the Indian squad, and will join the team before the second match of the series in Indore," it said.

South Africa defeated India in the first match of the series to take 1-0 lead on Sunday.
