Hero Indian Super League signs Dhanush as its brand ambassador in Tamil Nadu

Mumbai, Sept 29 (IBNS) With the country’s biggest football extravaganza, Hero Indian Super League, all set to kick off in Chennai, football fever in the region received a big boost with Tamil superstar Dhanush becoming the face of the league in Tamil Nadu. With a bigger and better season 2 on offer, the opening game will feature the defending Champions Atletico de Kolkata taking on the home team Chennaiyin FC on Oct 3.

Apart from the English broadcast available on Star Sports 2 & Star Sports HD2, football fans in Tamil Nadu will also be able to enjoy all the action and excitement of the sport in their preferred language, Tamil, on Jaya Max.

The talented and versatile actor, who has won multiple awards for his work, will promote the sport and the league for the millions of football enthusiasts in the state of Tamil Nadu. As a passionate football fan, Dhanush will be wearing his team colours of Chennaiyin FC during the domestic football league.

Speaking on the occasion, Dhanush said,“The inaugural season of the Hero Indian Super League revolutionised Indian football and brought quality football action for millions of fans across the country. This year, the league promises to be more competitive and captivating.
