I am coming back: Shoaib Akhtar says in video ahead of PSL

Islamabad, Feb 13 (IBNS): Triggering speculations that he may have joined one of the  Pakistan Super League teams in some capacity, former international cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, who has known for his fast bowling, has announced that he will be making a comeback on Feb 14.

In his Twitter video post , Akhtar said: "Today's kids believe that they know a lot and they can challenge my bowling speed. So, kids, let me say that I am coming back to play. Now, I will show you what speed really is."

Shoaib Akhtar said "I am going to play league so beware."

The PSL is scheduled to start on Thursday.

Akhat captioned the video as: " Hello 14th February is the date, mark your calendars guys. Main bhi araha hun iss baar league khelnay.. Aakhir inn bachon ko bhi pata chalay kay tezi hoti kia hai! #shoaibisback #Pakistan."

Wasim Akram replies to Akhtar's video message:

Akram, who is a former teammate of Akhtar and played several matches together for Pakistan, tweeted: "Shaibi.. Is this actually happening? You’re coming back? The kids these days could use some of your tezi. #shoaibisback."

Akhtar retired from cricket in 2011.

In his glorious career, Akhtar picked up178 and 247 Test and One-day International (ODI) wickets.

He even picked up 19 T20 International wickets.
