Mumbai: Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh on Wednesday wished actor Sanjay Dutt a speedy recovery from the disease he is suffering.

Yuvraj is himself a cancer survivor.

He battled the disease in 2012.

Yuvraj returned to the field and played in international matches.

Yuvraj, who ended his international career last year, tweeted: "You are, have and always will be a fighter @duttsanjay. I know the pain it causes but I also know you are strong and will see this tough phase through. My prayers and best wishes for your speedy recovery."

Sanjay Dutt has been reportedly diagnosed with lung cancer, film trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted last night.

Nahta said, "Not the new dreaded ‘C’ (Coronavirus), it’s the other dreaded ‘C’, Cancer, that Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with."

Meanwhile, a trailer of his upcoming movie Sadak 2, which will be released on online streaming platforms, was released on Wednesday.
