IAAF Diamond League: Vikas Gowda wins bronze

Shanghai, May 17 (IBNS) Indian discus thrower Vikas Gowda has clinched the bronze medal in the IAAF Diamond League series here on Sunday.

Throwing the disc  to a distance of 63.90m, Gowda was able to finish third at the podium.

The gold medal went to Poland's Piotr Malachowski  (64.65m) and the silver was won by Robert Urbanek ( 64.47m).
