ICC announces requests for proposals in Sportainment for ICC World Twenty20 2016

Dubai, Oct 9 (IBNS) The International Cricket Council has announced it is seeking requests for proposals (RFP) from companies interested in providing Sportainment services for the ICC World Twenty20 2016, which will be held in India from 11 March to 3 April.

The successful company will work closely with ICC to produce, deliver and manage all Sportainment needs for the event in which 16 sides (India - host, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, Hong Kong, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe) will participate across eight venues (Bangalore, Chennai, Dharamshala, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Nagpur and New Delhi).

In all, there will be a total of 35 men’s matches plus 23 matches in the women’s event, and the match schedule will be announced in due course. All matches of the men’s event will be televised and at least 10 matches of the women’s event will be televised.

The deadline for proposals is Friday (Oct 30, 2015
