ICC dismisses PCB's financial claim against BCCI

Dubai, Nov 20 (IBNS): The International Cricket Council on Tuesday said it has dismissed the financial claim which the Pakistan Cricket Board had made against Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The PCB had earlier sought damages from the BCCI to the tune of USD 70 million on the ground that the Indian board did not honour the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two boards in 2014 to play bilateral series.

The Dispute Panel formed under the Terms of Reference of the ICC Disputes Resolutions Committee (DRC)  announced its verdict after three-day hearing.

"Following a three-day hearing and having considered detailed oral and written submissions, the Dispute Panel has dismissed the PCB’s claim against the BCCI," the ICC said in a statement.
