Ice Stock awareness camp inaugurated at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium

Bandipora/IBNS: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmed, Wednesday inaugurated a two days awareness camp regarding Ice Stock at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium.

During the two day event, more than 60 children will be trained and short listed athletes will get a chance to represent their union territory at the forthcoming National Ice Stock Championship.

The event is supposed to be held at the Gulmarg ice ring from January 15 - January 17, 2021.

Dr Owais assured full support and contribution from the district administration to the organising body for the promotion and development of Ice Stock.

He also urged the youth of Bandipora to take keen interest in the Olympic event and bring laurels to J&K.
