India ‘A’ to tour Australia

Mumbai, April 11 (IBNS): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced that the India ‘A’ squad is scheduled to tour Australia in July- August 2014 to participate in two four-day games against Australia ‘A’.

India ‘A’ will also participate in a limited-overs Quadrangular series, featuring South Africa ‘A,’ Australia ‘A,’ and Cricket Australia’s National Performance Squad.

"This tour is a part of the exchange programme that has been initiated by BCCI along with Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa to provide increased exposure to our upcoming players and an opportunity to familiarise and compete in overseas conditions," BCCI Secretary Sanjay Patel said in a statement.
