India and England cricket teams warm up ahead of T20 series in Barsapara stadium

Guwahati, Feb 2 (UNI) Ahead of the three match T20 series, India and England women team had a light net session at the Brasapara Stadium here on Saturday.

Both the teams arrived in the city on Friday to take part in the three-match T20I Series which starts from Mar 4.

Amid tight security the cricketers of both the team had their first practice session.

The first match of the series will kick off on March four at the ACA stadium, in Barsapra. It would be followed by two more games on Mar 7 and 9 respectively.

Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has made entry free for the T20I matches to popularize women cricket in Assam. The gates in North and South stand will remain open for the spectators during the tie. All three matches will begin at 11:00 am.
