India-Australia Test: Joe Burns to bat at no 6

Melbourne, Dec 25 (IBNS): Debutant Joe Burns, who got a place in the Australian side as a replacement for Mitch Marsh, will bat at number six in the third Test against India from Friday.

"BREAKING: Joe Burns will bat at six coming in for Mitchell Marsh, Ryan Harris comes in for Mitchell Starc #AUSvIND," cricket.com.au tweeted.

Australia has defeated India in the first two matches of the Test series.

Speaking on Burns,  coach Darren Lehmann was earlier quoted as saying by Cricket Australia website "When I saw him play, I thought he could really play at the next level."

Lehmann coached Joe Burns at Queensland.
