India clinch bronze in shooting

Incheon, Sept 25 (IBNS): Indian women's team comprising of Shagun Chowdhary, Shreyasi Singh and Varsha Varman clinched bronze in the double trap team event of the Asian Games here on Thursday.

The trio shot  279 to clinch bronze.

Chinese team won the gold medal while the silver medal went to South Korea.

Rower Sawarn Singh  grabbed the bronze medal in men's single sculls event on Thursday.

Completing the 2,000 metre race in seven minutes and 10.65 seconds, he stood in the third place.

The gold medal went to Iran's Mohsen Shadinaghadeh and silver was won by Kim Dongyong of South Korea.
