India-England fifth ODI: Bell out with broken toe

London, Sept 3 (IBNS): England batsman Ian Bell has been ruled out of the final ODI match of the ongoing series due to a small fracture to his left big toe, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said on Wednesday.

" England and Warwickshire batsman Ian Bell has been ruled out of the final Royal London one-day international against India on Friday with a small fracture to his left big toe sustained yesterday before the one-day international at Edgbaston," read the ECB website.

"Bell will not be replaced in the squad for the remaining match," the board said.

India defeated England in the fourth match of the ongoing ODI series to take an  unassailable 3-0 lead  on Tuesday.
