India-England: Rain washes out series opener

Bristol, Aug 25 (IBNS) The first one day international match between Indian and England was abandoned on Monday due to relentless rains and wet ground conditions here.

The match was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

India and England will play five match in the series.

India lost the five-match Test against the hosts 3-1.
