India pick up three wickets, Bangladesh struggle at 103-3

Bangladesh still need 356 runs to win the Test while India have to take seven more wickets to register their first home Test series victory against the Asian side.

Despite Mushfiqur Rahim's heroic 127 runs knock, Indian bowers were successful in bowling out the visitors for 388 runs in their first innings.

Umesh Yadav took three wickets for India while Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin picked up two wickets.

Ishant Sharma and Kumar shared a wicket each.

In a rapid second innings, India posted 159 runs for the loss of four wickets with

Cheteshwar Pujara top scoring with his unbeaten 54 runs knock.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who had hit a double ton in the first innings which had helped India post massive 687 runs for the loss of six wickets, contributed 38 runs with his willow while Ajikya Rahae added 28 runs.

Taskin Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan picked up two wickets each for Bangladesh.

Tamim Iqbal (3), Soumya Sarkar (42) and Mominul Haque (27) have already returned to the pavilion as Ashwin delivered a blow on the opponent lineup and took two wickets.

Jadeja dismissed Sarkar.

For Bangladesh, Mahmudullah (9*) and Shakib Al Hasan (21*) will resume the proceedings on Monday.
