Indian team's fielding was diabolical: Glenn

New Delhi, Aug 18 (IBNS): Former Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath blamed India's poor fielding as one of the reason behind the country's poor show in the recently concluded Test series against England.

"Indian team's fielding was diabolical. The bowlers did okay and they created opportunities. But when you drop catches, it is frustrating," he told NDTV.

He said Indian players should go back to 'basics' as they would get very less time to fix the problems ahead of the tour to Australia.

"Things are pretty bad and India must get back to the basics. They will be touring Australia and there is not much time fix the problems," said McGrath.

"It will be really tough for India in Australia," he said.

England thrashed India to win the five-match series 3-1 on Sunday. England defeated India by an innings and 244 runs in the final Test match of the series.
