Indian women's squash team thrash Pakistan

Hangzhou, Sep 26 (UNI) The Indian women's squash team beat Pakistan 3-0 in their opening Pool B match at the Asian Games 2023.

Anahat Singh, Joshana Chinappa and Tanvi Khanna won consecutive games in their respective matches.

India will face Nepal and Macao China tomorrow, starting at 7:30 am, in the next two group matches.

Fifteen-year-old Aanahat, an under-15 and under-17 Asian champion, won 3-0 in the first match of the India vs Pakistan women's squash Pool B tie to give India the lead. She beat Sadia Gul 11-6, 11-6, 11-3.
Joshana, meanwhile, won the second match 11-2, 11-5, 11-7 against Pakistan's Noor Ul Huda Sadiq.
